What is Moissanite?
Moissanite is a near-colorless gemstone that’s composed of silicon carbide and was first discovered in 1893 by a French scientist, Henri Moissan, in a meteor crater in Arizona.
Nowadays, moissanite is extremely rare to find in nature, so the majority of what you’ll find in the industry is lab-created. Compared to natural gemstones like diamonds, lab-created moissanite gemstones have a smaller carbon footprint, which results in less negative environmental impact.
How is Real Diamond Different from Moissanite?
As you can come to know Moissanite is made of pure silicon carbide whereas Diamond is made of carbon elements. Here, moissanite is not naturally occurring and diamonds emerge from the intrusion of the earth's magma. It's nearly impossible to find natural Moissanites. Moissanites are eco-friendly in essence and don't harm nature.
Moissanites are better or Real Diamond?
Moissanites have more brilliance than Diamond. In sense, the Moissanite has more fire and brilliance than any other gemstone. Because moissanite is double refractive, it is cut differently than diamonds to enhance the sparkle. Moissanites are way more affordable than diamonds.
Can I wear Moissanite Jewelry daily?
